COVID-19 resources

Here you will find useful information and advice to help you through the Covid-19 pandemic.

The current COVID-19 situation will require people to rely on predominantly technological communication methods. When in-person communication is not an option, social distancing can feel like social exclusion. There are numerous digital communication options to ensure we continue to connect with each other, despite social distancing enforcements.

If you need help learning the basics of video calling or social media, coordinating your teams who are working remotely or how to connect with your community via digital, we've collated all the resources you will need here.

Using online resources can be a great way to support your health, including:

  • Improving knowledge. You can search the internet for information about health problems, their symptoms and treatment options.
  • Increased ability to make more informed decisions about your healthcare enabling you to feel more confident in the treatment you receive.

By using online resources, when you can, you will be helping to reduce the pressure on the NHS at this critical time.

Here's a list of online resources to help you monitor your health.

Digital skills

Our aim is to help people without digital skills get the help they need to use the internet and make the most of the opportunities being offered online.

If you feel that you are completely without digital skills, and have little or no online experience, we hope that these resources will enable you to access what the internet has to offer you.

Our resources also have information that can help you as a volunteer to gain the skills you need to better support people with digital skills.

For those seeking help with digital skills, from online shopping to finding online courses, you can find it here.
